Connect BioMed Data Compass SMS Privacy Policy and Terms

Connect BioMed, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of users (“you” or “your”) who interact with our Data Compass services, including participation via SMS communication. By signing up for Data Compass reports and consenting to receive SMS communications, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

a. Personal Information You Provide:

  • Name, email address, and mobile phone number when you register for the Data Compass program.

  • SMS opt-in status, including timestamp, IP address, and form submission data.

b. Automatically Collected Metadata:

  • Server logs, submission records, and system-generated metadata to track consent and manage communication history.

2. SMS COMMUNICATION & CONSENT

a. Purpose of SMS Messages:
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive SMS messages related to:

  • Medical conference reports and Data Compass insights

  • Brief surveys and participation requests

  • Program updates and follow-up communications

b. Frequency and Charges:

  • Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply.

  • You are not required to consent to SMS to access other services.

c. Opt-In Method:

  • SMS consent is obtained via an unchecked checkbox during online form submission.

  • The form clearly discloses the nature of SMS messages, opt-out rights, and message frequency.

  • We log opt-in metadata (IP address, timestamp, user agent) for compliance.

d. Opt-Out Mechanism:

  • Reply STOP to any SMS message to unsubscribe.

  • Message Delivery: Message delivery is not guaranteed and may be impacted by your carrier, device, or service availability.

  • No Purchase Required: Participation is free and not conditioned on any purchase. Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile plan.

  • Opt-Out: You may unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP. You may reply HELP for assistance or contact us at DevTeam@ConnectBioMed.com.

  • Usage Limits: Messages will be informational in nature. No abusive, unauthorized, or commercial use of the program is permitted.

  • Liability Disclaimer: Connect BioMed is not responsible for any costs, loss, or damages related to participation in the SMS program, message delays, or third-party network issues.

  • Amendments: We may update these terms at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the current terms.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY AND TERMS

We may update this Privacy Policy and Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued participation in the program after changes means you accept the updated terms.
